As the calendar flips to 2025, we at Cosmic Development reflect on 2024 – a year filled with challenges, inspiration, and remarkable achievements. From meaningful community contributions to professional milestones and celebrations, this past year showcased the extraordinary outcomes of vision and collaboration. In 2024, we strengthened our greatest asset: our connections—with our team, clients, and the wider community.

Internally, our bonds grew stronger through memorable team experiences. A highlight was our unforgettable team-building trip to Greece, where collaboration flourished. Events like Easterland and Earth Day in Skopje showcased our spirit of togetherness. We celebrated creativity with Halloween and energized our team at the Rumble Afterparty.

Other memorable moments included our wine-and-paint event in Skopje and the Ping-Pong Tournament, both of which offered opportunities to connect, unwind, and enjoy time together as a team.

Externally, we demonstrated our expertise on a global stage. Attending events like the International HR Conference, the Web Summit in Lisbon, and the Ruby Conference allowed us to connect with industry leaders and exchange ideas. Our visits to the Rumble U.S. Headquarters and participation in the International Political CPAC Conference in Budapest further established our reputation as forward-thinkers and trusted voices in our field.

2024 was another year of strong partnerships and innovative solutions. We were privileged to work on projects that broke new ground and delivered measurable impact. Whether solving complex challenges or building tailored solutions, our commitment to helping our clients thrive remained steadfast.

Our commitment to giving back reached new heights in 2024. We supported education and healthcare through initiatives such as donating IT equipment to schools, providing essential supplies to hospitals, and distributing school materials to students. The philanthropic spirit extended to Easterland, blending festive joy with meaningful contributions. 

Additionally, we proudly sponsored math prodigy Damjan Davkov, whose extraordinary talent earned him a gold medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad, inspiring excellence and perseverance. We also supported the Prespa Swimming Marathon, celebrating the spirit of resilience and dedication. Learning is a journey that never ends. In 2024, we prioritized growth for our team and future tech talent. 

Our Soft Skills Academy ran throughout the year, equipping employees with tools to lead with empathy, communicate effectively, and solve problems creatively. We also welcomed the next generation of tech talent through our IT Internship Program, where participants gained hands-on experience and insights that prepared them for the demands of the industry.

Staying Active and Connected

Movement, both physical and metaphorical, defined 2024. From running in the Avicenna Women’s Race and the Halk Eco Run to crossing the finish line at the Wizz Air Marathon and Ohrid Trchat Marathon, we embraced the thrill of movement. 

We also inspired the next generation by supporting the Mini Trchaj Be Marathon in Bitola, proving that health and wellness are values we hold close.

Can you share your career journey and what led you to your current Marketing Executive and Growth Expert role at Rumble?

I have over 15 years of experience driving business growth online. After earning my Business Administration degree from Concordia University, I had the opportunity to help multiple businesses evolve by bringing them into the 21st century with innovative marketing and advertising strategies. I’ve always been drawn to the most challenging and dynamic landscapes on the internet, including adult, online gambling, healthcare, and web3. In 2023, I joined Rumble as the Head of Growth, where I’ve played a pivotal role in the company’s evolution. I’m particularly attracted to fun and competitive fields where I can accelerate my learnings and implement winning strategies.

What are the key advantages and challenges you face in your role at Rumble?

One of the challenges I face as Head of Growth at Rumble is similar to what any company goes through in the first few years of being publicly traded: how do we grow? With over 15 years of experience, I’ve grown accustomed to defining growth strategies, but this is my first time working for a public company, which brings its own set of challenges. There’s more stickiness around legal messaging, financial audits, and external pressures, which actually make it fun to be part of. Being Head of Growth isn’t just about marketing or advertising—I’ve become deeply involved in Rumble’s sales team and, as an executive, I’m constantly bringing fresh ideas to the table.

Rumble has grown significantly since its launch in 2013. Since taking on the role of Growth Expert at Rumble, what specific strategies have you implemented to drive further growth and enhance user engagement on the platform?

Since joining Rumble, my focus has been on working closely with a talented team, all collectively driving toward our mission of making the internet a free and open space. It’s important to highlight that none of the growth we’ve achieved has been a solo effort; it’s a team effort to deliver an optimal experience for both users and advertisers.

That said, I’ve had direct involvement in several key areas to accelerate growth. I helped create a partner program to expand our reach, secured event speaking opportunities to build brand awareness, and updated the advertiser flow to simplify sign-up and drive conversions. Additionally, I’ve implemented tracking for lifetime value to improve our paid acquisition strategy, ensuring we’re acquiring profitable users. I also played a role in launching promotions for the Rumble Ad Center, and I’ve been involved with our tech team to enhance our ad platform, which is a key part of our business model. These initiatives, along with many others, have helped drive significant growth and boost user engagement across the platform.

How does the Rumble Advertising Center (RAC) differentiate itself from other advertising platforms in the market? 

The Rumble Advertising Center (RAC) sets itself apart by being a constantly evolving and adaptable ad solution in today’s competitive market. One of the key differentiators is the personalized support we provide to our advertisers. Each advertiser is paired with a dedicated rep, ensuring close communication to optimize performance and gather valuable feedback on any challenges or needs they have. This creates a stronger, more collaborative relationship that’s hard to find on larger platforms.

Another aspect that makes RAC unique is our flexibility. We manually review all ads, which allows us to be more open to certain messaging and promotional offers. Unlike other platforms that rely heavily on automated systems that can shadow-ban, suspend, or penalize without proper review, we take a hands-on approach, ensuring fair and accurate ad assessments.

We also offer a more focused way for advertisers to connect with a closed, engaged audience. By limiting access to our user base, we’ve made RAC the go-to avenue for reaching them. Lastly, our pricing is particularly attractive because, unlike saturated platforms like YouTube or Facebook, there’s less competition, allowing advertisers to get better value for their spending.

Can you explain the main features and benefits of the Rumble Cloud for businesses?

Rumble Cloud is essentially the backbone of rumble.com, a platform that handles millions of users every month. What’s particularly impressive about Rumble Cloud is its reliability—it consistently stays online, even in the face of constant DDoS attacks, which is a testament to its strength and resilience, especially given our uncensored approach to content. It’s important to mention, though, that while we support free expression, we never allow hate, nudity, or violence on the platform.

Another key benefit of Rumble Cloud is how it aligns with our core values, like transparency. This is especially important for businesses when it comes to understanding limitations, pricing, and performance. Businesses can trust that we offer clear, upfront information, which simplifies the decision-making process and ensures there are no surprises along the way.

What role does innovation play in maintaining Rumble’s competitive edge in the digital media landscape?

Innovation is crucial in maintaining Rumble’s competitive edge, especially in the highly competitive world of online advertising. To stand out and stay relevant, we have to be constantly evolving. As a small, nimble team, we’re never short on ideas, and our agility allows us to quickly test and implement new strategies. This ability to move fast and adapt gives us a big advantage in a space where standing still means falling behind.

Technology changes rapidly, so it’s essential that we’re always looking ahead to identify new tools and platforms that can improve advertiser performance and enhance user satisfaction. By staying on top of these changes, we ensure that Rumble continues to deliver value for both advertisers and users, keeping us competitive in the digital media landscape.

Looking ahead, what are your primary goals for Rumble’s growth and development in the next few years?

Looking ahead, my primary goal is to continue building a strong structure across Rumble’s various business units, with clear objectives that align with our long-term vision. In the next few years, I want to ensure that we have solid foundations in place in all areas, so we can scale efficiently, whether that’s through organic growth or strategic acquisitions.

I also see a big opportunity in integrating AI into our content, particularly around translations. Right now, most of our content is in English, but imagine a future where people around the world can access and enjoy authentic content in their own languages. By leveraging AI, we could really expand our global reach and make Rumble’s content accessible to everyone, no matter where they’re from.

Congratulations on reaching the milestone of 10 years at Cosmic Development, Vesna! Looking back, what key moments or achievements in your journey with the company stand out to you the most?

Ten years is a long journey. Looking back on my years at Cosmic Development, I have seen how the company has been growing, spreading from one office in Skopje to opening offices in Bitola, Canada, and Serbia. This was challenging and required a lot of commitment from my department. 

The number of employees has drastically increased. Also, my team has grown, and with it, my responsibilities. It was quite an experience that I have been involved in the whole process of evolving the company, and I am still eager for new achievements, which I am sure will follow.

I am happy and proud that I have been part of this successful story that continues. 

As a working mother and a key Finance team member, how have you balanced your professional responsibilities with your personal life over the past decade? Can you share some insights or tips for other working mothers striving to find that balance?

 I must start with the fact that it has been challenging and still is. My job is quite responsible and requires a full commitment. At the same time, the kids are at that age where they need our presence and help to guide them on the right path. To achieve a good work-life balance, I couldn’t have succeeded without Cosmic, my coworkers, and my husband. Cosmic offers us full flexibility; we can arrange our time and work from home whenever needed. My coworkers and my supervisors are always supportive and understanding. My husband has my back at home. So, the tip here is to choose wisely. 

March is International Women’s Month, and you’re a shining example of a dedicated and loyal female employee. How do you feel about being recognized this month for your contributions to the company and as a role model for other women in the workforce?

As a female employee, I feel honored and grateful to be recognized during International Women’s Month for my contribution to the company and as a potential role model for other women in the workforce. It’s essential to acknowledge the achievements and dedication of women in the workplace, especially during a month dedicated to celebrating their contributions and accomplishments. I hope being recognized will inspire and empower other women to pursue their career goals and aspirations.

In your role as Finance and Accounting Manager, how do you see your responsibilities evolving in the future, especially considering the changing landscape of finance and accounting practices?

To perform our job effectively, it’s essential to keep the numbers organized and stay updated on the latest rules and regulations from different areas, as they tend to change often. I manage implementing these updates in my everyday work and ensure they’re communicated clearly. With all the changes and challenges we face daily, along with the new things we’re learning, the feedback I receive helps me grow and evolve and affects my responsibilities at work.

With ten years of experience at Cosmic Development, you’ve likely witnessed various organizational changes and challenges. Can you discuss strategies or approaches you’ve employed to navigate these changes successfully?

Sure, changes are inevitable, especially in a company like Cosmic that is growing and developing. To effectively tackle these changes and challenges, here are a few strategies I’ve found to work: 

  1. Continuous Learning: This is, by default, a must.
  2. Problem–Solving Mindset: Helps identify problems early and work toward solutions to prevent issues from escalating.
  3. Maintaining a Positive Attitude: Keeping a positive attitude helps to keep the morale high and creates a productive work environment.
  4. Building Relationships: Building strong relationships with teammates and supervisors helps collaborate effectively, seek support when needed, and navigate challenges together.

By embracing these strategies, I’ve been able to contribute positively to Cosmic’s growth and success while navigating the inevitable changes and challenges that come with it.

Cosmic Development achieved a significant milestone by opening two new offices in 2023. Our Bitola headquarters moved to a more spacious and cutting-edge location, emphasizing our commitment to an enhanced work environment. Meanwhile, we relocated to a new office in Skopje, reflecting our dedication to serving clients better and accommodating our team. These new offices signify not only physical expansion but also our dedication to creating dynamic spaces that inspire innovation and support the continued success of our team and the clients we serve.

Our calendar was brimming with events in 2023. 

We organized various company events, with a highlight being the opening of new offices in Bitola and Skopje and our team building weekend in Greece, a three-day bonding event filled with team activities, learning, and fun.

Additionally, we hosted and participated in numerous internal and external events.

Internally, our team engaged in Easter workshops, celebrated World Space Week, hosted students in our offices and participated in festive New Year and Christmas workshops. The inaugural Gaming Mortal Combat Tournament added an extra layer of excitement. 

Externally, we actively participated in events like the 15th International HR Conference, Word Camp Skopje 2023, and a panel discussion in collaboration with SOS Children’s Village. 

On the international stage, our team embarked on a working visit to Florida, attended a Political Scientific Conference in Budapest, joined the Bravehearts 777 Marathon in Melbourne, and participated in the European Championship in E-Gaming in Iasi, Romania, and Web Summit in Lisbon, Portugal. 

These diverse events enriched our collective experiences and reinforced our commitment to learning, collaboration, and global engagement. Looking back, it’s evident that our shared experiences played a crucial role in enhancing team dynamics and performance.

Before we jump into 2023, let’s look at the most memorable accomplishments of the past year.  

2022, Cosmic Development’s eleventh year of helping businesses level up, was accompanied by constant growth. We remained committed to building a better tomorrow for our clients and continued working hard to provide first-class services.

Driven by our core values, we strived to make a positive impact with all of our activities and business decisions. We introduced many new ideas to our company and participated in numerous significant events.

Cosmic Development welcomed many new team members and hoped to have a successful journey together in the years ahead. We recognized our team members’ personal lives and their need for flexibility and growth. And we acknowledged their talent and their many contributions to our company. 

Cosmic Development Continues Growing 

We continued building strong relationships with our clients throughout the year and remained committed to delivering the highest service and value. We’ve helped them grow and celebrated their successes. We successfully kicked off three new projects this year and welcomed one new client.

Our HR team has been busy bringing on new team members that helped Cosmic grow all year. Our company began the year with 91 team members and finished with 152 highly skilled professionals.

We ensured that our team had the skills and knowledge needed to succeed and invested in training programs, mentorship opportunities, and professional development courses.

Cosmic Development is constantly learning about advancements in the future of work and how workplaces are modernized worldwide. Our vision of a modern workplace means providing our employees with the tools and resources to do their jobs effectively, so we invested in tools and equipment that support a hybrid workforce.

The secret to our growth is our investment in employee experience. Offering various benefits and employee perks tailored to the individual needs of our people has remained imperative. 

Cosmic Development Events in 2022

It’s been a busy and eventful 2022 for Cosmic Development. 

As pandemic restrictions were lifted, we welcomed the return of in-person events. And after two years of virtual events, getting back to the “real world” and meeting people in person felt good. Here’s a round-up of the fantastic events we took part in.

Seminars and Conferences  

  • AllWeb 2022. Staying on top of current trends is essential for our marketing team. In September, our colleague Aleksandar Bogdanoski attended Digital Marketing Conference AllWeb in Mavrovo and learned more about the latest trends in digital marketing from prominent industry experts. 
  • The Future Is Remote. In October, we were part of the amazing “The Future is Remote” event organized by Native Teams. Our managing director Anthony Naumoff talked about growth and remote work and shared our success story on the subject.
  • Youth Strategy 2022. Our colleague Marina Trajkovska attended Youth Strategy 2022 workshop, where she gave insight into employing young people and how it reflects our society.
  • Kontakt 2022 – Job Fair. In April, we participated in the online Job and Internship Fair in Skopje, Kontakt 2022, and presented our company. 
  • Business Trip to New York. In September, a few people from the Cosmic Development team went to New York City and had the honor of attending the NASDAQ bell-ringing ceremony of one of our most loyal clients Rumble.

Sports Events  

The wellness of our company depends on the well-being of our employees. One of the ways to get our employees active and motivated and boost their mental and physical well-being is by encouraging participation in sports activities. So, this year too, we supported their participation in Avicenna Women’s Race 2022, Trcaj Be Race, and Skopje Wizz Air Marathon.

Other events include participating in the FICT online fair in May, the AmCham event in November, and the HR networking event in Bitola in December. Additionally, we sponsored the 7th Toptash Downhill Cup and the monodrama of our talented colleague Kristijan Tanchevski.

Making the World a Better Place

Cosmic Development is a socially responsible company, and we always strive to do what’s best not only for our company but for people, the planet, and society at large. Therefore, we give back to our communities regularly, participate in events and initiatives that support others, and raise awareness about the world’s pressing issues today. 

  • Donate a Computer initiative. We supported the Donate a Computer initiative and donated computers, mobile phones, and tech inventory to people in need. Our company was also invited to Doniraj Kompjuter’s 6th birthday party, where we received a certificate of appreciation for our donations to their organization.
  • Earth Day Picnic. Earth Day 2022 was a great way to reflect on our environmental responsibility. We organized a fun picnic and celebrated the day by putting on gloves and picking up trash.
  • World Space Week. We joined the celebration of space, science, and technology. Our employees and their kids had an exciting planetarium visit where they looked through the telescope and learned more about our galaxy.
  • Afforestation Activity. We also took part in the afforestation activities and donated equipment.

Success is Best When it is Shared

This year we have successfully conducted different internal events and created in-person moments. All our colleagues, new and old, finally had a chance to connect and bond.

Some of the exciting events we did internally were the business visit and an informal dinner meeting with Cosmic Development’s CEO and CFO, Ryan and Matt, as well as Rumble’s CEO, Chris Pavlovski. 

Additionally, we held our first in-person general meeting since the pandemic’s start. And we organized two interactive soft skill workshops in Skopje and Bitola with the business and management consultant Mihail Kitanovski. 

After two years of missing out on team building, we organized team buildings in Serbia and Macedonia. It was an excellent opportunity to get together, build connections, improve communication and collaboration, and have a lot of fun. 

The New Year activities are an essential part of our traditions. We ended 2022 in a big way and had one of the best New Year parties. There were cocktails, tasty food, great music, and dancing till the morning. Furthermore, we organized a New Year party for the youngest Cosmic members. We loved seeing our offices in Skopje and Bitola becoming happier, louder, and more lively, and we enjoyed all those big smiles and happy faces. 

Our People Are Our Greatest Asset

As we look back on this year, we can’t help but recognize the amazing group of people behind our company. Employee well-being, employee happiness, employee experience, and employee satisfaction are the terms that marked 2022 at Cosmic Development. They are a vital feature of our corporate culture and essential to the company’s overall success.

We continued encouraging open communication and listened to our employees to understand their needs and goals for the future. At the beginning of the year, we surveyed all employees to identify how, when, and where they work best. We used the survey results to create a concise and comprehensive hybrid work policy that meets the needs of our employees and our business. We invested in space and modern technology to bridge the physical and digital world and equipped our people with the tools they need to be productive, whether working from home or in the office.

Employee well-being, work-life balance, and flexibility remained a priority this year.

We further developed our employee benefits strategy. Now, we offer private health insurance for all employees and close family members, a yearly budget for professional growth and learning and training programs, wellness benefits, employee recognition, reward programs, and subsidized healthy meal options. The list will grow in 2023. 

We continued acknowledging their hard work and accomplishments and celebrated work anniversaries, new wins, new clients, birthdays, and much more. And we invested investment in networking, educational, and mentorship opportunities.

Great work this year, and thank you for being such an integral part of our growth in 2022. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Looking Forward to 2023

Looking ahead to the coming year, we are grateful for what we’ve accomplished and look forward to further growth. Our culture constantly evolves, but our values and purpose remain the same. We continue to support our people and create an environment where they can do their best work and be their best selves. And we will continue serving our clients with the highest quality and expertise.

2021 was a challenging, unusual, and fantastic year. Here’s a recap of what Cosmic Development accomplished in 2021.

As we are coming to the end of another challenging year, we reflect on everything we have accomplished in 2021. Despite all challenges, we at Cosmic Development successfully adapted to the rapid changes brought about by the new reality of life and doing business. During the second year of the COVID-19 pandemic, we showed resilience, flexibility, and compassion and supported our people and clients through uncertainties and unpredictability. We continued working hard and provided our clients with high-quality services and innovative solutions. And we proudly say that we have seen some excellent results. To wrap up the year, let’s look back at some highlights of 2021.

Ten years of Cosmic Development

Cosmic Development 10 years - year in review

This year, we’ve marked the first decade for Cosmic Development. What began with a small team of six young and passionate people slowly grew into a larger crew. Today we are a renowned international IT outsourcing company with over 200 highly skilled and dedicated professionals. We have over 300 completed projects with over 90 clients around the globe. In the past ten years, we kept on our growth path. We established ourselves as a global provider of skills, knowledge, and expertise, offering a wide range of digital outsourcing solutions. Even though we had a virtual party, we can’t wait to celebrate this important milestone in the good old-fashioned way by gathering our people from all locations. 

Happy 10th birthday, Cosmic Development, and a big thank you to our fantastic employees and clients for making this journey a success. With you, we are well set for success in the next decade. 

We continued our path of growth

If this year has taught us anything, it is that uncertainty and progress can exist together. Despite all the ups and downs, we’ve made the most of the current circumstances and continued growing our business. We have achieved this by utilizing our core skills and providing services that add value for our clients. Next, we implemented strategies and innovations that drove the company forward and led us to a better future.

We have launched new partnerships during the year and continued to build the team. From the beginning of 2021, we have welcomed 47 people in many different positions, and we are actively looking for more to join us. Our loyal client, Bookmark, an AI-powered website builder, has also continued with its considerable growth and is expanding its team with us. The latest opportunity is for a Software Developer with the following specifications.

Cosmic’s hard-working employees are the foundation of our business, and it is our priority to make them feel valued, appreciated, and motivated. As part of Cosmic’s employee reward and recognition strategy, we acknowledge their hard work and accomplishments on various turns.

To name a few, this year we are proud of:

  • our loyal employees who celebrated five-year and ten-year anniversaries,
  • our Cosmic ambassadors who took part and represented the company in external events,
  • our diligent people who went above and beyond giving their contributions in internal projects,
  • the ones who stood out in the creative challenges,
  • the youngest members of our Cosmic family who amazed us with their original works in the World Space Week kids’ workshop. 

Further, we invested in IT infrastructure and equipped our employees with the technology and services to stay productive. Our teams are fully prepared to respond to the increasing demand for IT outsourcing and rapid digitization and help our clients successfully navigate the COVID-19 environment.

Events we attended and initiatives we supported

Every year Cosmic Development takes part in various events and initiatives, and this year was no exception despite the circumstances. Let’s look back at the following:  

Sports events. Our commitment to healthy life choices and wellbeing has always been a part of our company culture. Our team members participated and successfully represented Cosmic Development in the Wizz Air Marathon Skopje 2021, the Skopje Run 10k race, and the “Trcaj Be” race in Bitola.

Charitable initiatives. Social responsibility is another significant aspect of our company culture. We feel it is our duty to help the communities in which we live and work, and we are dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of those in need.

Traditionally, every year we take part in Christmas and New Year charitable initiatives. This year we supported nonprofits and charities in Macedonia and Serbia. We helped 30 families and donated food, clothing, and money to children without parents, children with disabilities, and low-income families. Additionally, we responded to the call to donate IT equipment and computers to families who can’t afford it and joined the “Donate a computer” initiative. The donation is going to be realized in the first week of January.

Tech events. In December, our colleagues Bojan Angjelkovski and Viktorija Krstevska represented Cosmic Development at DIGIT (Design and Interactive Graphics in IT), an educational event for students in the field of design and programming. At this year’s DIGIT Web – Angular Edition, Viki, a web developer, shared her personal story at Cosmic. Whereas, Bojan, a professional in Angular, mentored and assisted students in building a website with the help of Angular.

Bye 2021, hello 2022! 

2021 has been a year of challenges, learning, and change – not only for our team but for our clients, too. However, we remained strong and persistent. We plan to use everything we have learned from this past year to continue providing the best services for our clients.

We are looking forward to an inspiring 2022. Hopefully, we can put the pandemic behind and continue building Cosmic Development’s success story. In 2022 safety remains one of our highest priorities, and working from home will continue to be our core way of functioning. Despite the remote work policy, we will keep on growing our teams and hiring many new people. We will work hard and support our people and clients in reaching their goals and succeeding in 2022 and beyond.

Still, our biggest wish waits to be fulfilled as we can’t wait to gather all and celebrate everything from our rapidly growing community, birthdays, to new wins, new clients, and much more.
