Why Do Growing SaaS Companies Choose Dedicated Development Teams?

If you’re building a SaaS product, you’re probably juggling an ambitious roadmap, customer expectations, and the pressure to deliver continuous updates—without sacrificing quality. Research shows that 68% of SaaS companies struggle to meet their product development timelines due to resource constraints.

While your internal team may be seasoned and committed, they’re often over capacity. The result is predictable:

  • Product timelines slip by an average of 3-6 months
  • Critical bugs make it to production, affecting user experience
  • UX improvements get deprioritized, impacting retention rates

• Your team spends 40% more time firefighting than building new features

Why SaaS Companies Struggle to Scale

The promise of SaaS is speed. You iterate fast, release often, and adapt based on feedback using frameworks like Agile and DevOps. But that only works if your team has the capacity to keep up.

When growth outpaces your ability to deliver, cracks begin to show across your entire development lifecycle:

  • Feature development stalls because engineers are overloaded with maintenance tasks (studies show developers spend 42% of their time on technical debt)
  • UX suffers as design teams stretch across too many priorities, leading to inconsistent user experiences
  • Quality declines due to rushed testing cycles, with QA teams reporting 60% more critical bugs during peak development periods

Benefits of Dedicated Development Teams

A dedicated development team is a cross-functional unit that works with your product daily. They understand your tech stack (whether it’s React/Node.js, Python/Django, or .NET), your sprint cadence, your users, and your long-term goals.

Here’s what they typically include:

  • Full-stack developers who build new features using modern frameworks like Next.js, Vue.js, or Angular, while optimizing performance and reducing technical debt
  • UX/UI designers proficient in tools like Figma and Adobe XD who ensure usability and design consistency across web and mobile platforms
  • QA engineers experienced with automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Jest) who test every release rigorously and prevent costly issues before they go live

Common SaaS Team Use Cases

Not every team needs help in the same way. Here are some common scenarios where dedicated support can make a meaningful impact:

  • Accelerating roadmap delivery when your internal team is at full capacity.
  • Launching a new product line without disrupting your core team’s focus.
  • Redesigning critical UX flows to improve user onboarding or retention.
  • Strengthening QA ahead of a major release or scale-up.
  • Replatforming or modernizing legacy architecture without overwhelming internal resources.
  • Expanding into new markets or user segments that require new UX research and product adjustments.

Because the team is tailored to your needs, you’re not paying for roles you don’t need—and you avoid the delays of hiring from scratch.

What Happens Without a Dedicated Team?

Let’s flip the lens: what does it cost you to continue operating without dedicated team support?

  • Delays become normal. Key initiatives get pushed back—not because they aren’t important, but because no one has time.
  • Inconsistencies creep in. Design debt builds. Codebases become harder to manage.
  • Your team burns out. And once that happens, productivity and morale take a serious hit.

For SaaS businesses trying to scale sustainably, that’s a dangerous cycle. Dedicated teams help break it.

How to Know If a Dedicated Team Is Right for You

If you’re unsure whether this model fits your business, start by asking:

  • Are your backlog and roadmap growing faster than your team can manage?
  • Have product delays or bugs impacted user satisfaction recently?
  • Are you investing time and resources in recruiting without clear results?
  • Do you need to deliver faster—but don’t want to compromise product quality?
  • Would your internal team benefit from focusing on core product ownership, rather than day-to-day execution?

If you answered yes to any of these, it may be time to explore a dedicated team model.

How to Choose the Right Dedicated Team Partner

Not all dedicated team providers are equal. The right partner will:

  • Understand your industry and product type. Look for someone with SaaS-specific experience.
  • Support long-term collaboration. Avoid one-size-fits-all staffing firms that treat this as transactional.
  • Prioritize integration. Your dedicated team should use your tools, follow your processes, and act like an extension of your team—not a siloed delivery service.
  • Offer end-to-end support. From sourcing and onboarding to retention and performance management.

A good partner becomes a strategic ally, helping you scale without losing control.

Some designers focus on how things look. Others focus on how things work. Martin Tenovski does both, and does it in a way that feels natural, thoughtful, and quietly impactful.

Since joining as a UX/UI designer, Martin has grown into a leadership role that reflects not just his skills but also his way of thinking. He doesn’t chase trends—he listens, simplifies, and builds with intention. His redesign of the Rumble Advertising Center is a great example of that: a platform transformed not for the sake of change but to make it easier, faster, and better for the people using it every day.

In this interview, Martin shares how his design process has evolved, what stood out during a recent UX conference in Berlin, and how unexpected influences—from video games to woodworking—shape how he approaches digital design. It reflects growth, curiosity, and what it takes to create meaningful user experiences in a fast-moving world.

Background & Career Growth at Cosmic Development

I started at Cosmic Development as a UX/UI designer, where my primary focus was improving the overall platform experience. Over time, I had the opportunity to redesign the entire Rumble Advertising Center, a project that allowed me to refine user flows, modernize the interface, and create a more seamless experience. Now, as the design lead for this project, I oversee the platform’s evolution, ensuring that user experience remains at the forefront.

While I work directly on Rumble’s platform, Cosmic Development has been instrumental in my growth by providing a collaborative and supportive environment. The company supports employees through sponsorship of sports events, access to additional learning platforms, conference attendance, and flexibility in work, allowing me to work remotely at all times. This level of support has enabled me to refine my skills and confidently take on larger design challenges.

Key Insights from FOSS Backstage Berlin Conference

I attended FOSS Backstage in Berlin, a conference focused on open-source design, collaboration, and community-driven development. One of the key takeaways was the increasing importance of transparency in UX design—how open-source principles can be applied to make design decisions more accessible and inclusive. Discussions around ethical design, accessibility, and the role of AI in open-source projects were particularly insightful. The event reinforced the idea that good design isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about building experiences that are functional, inclusive, and sustainable.

Design Process: Balancing User Needs with Visual Appeal

My design process starts with understanding the problem—this means researching user needs, analyzing data, and defining clear objectives. From there, I create wireframes and prototypes, focusing on usability before refining the visual aspects. Iteration is key, and user feedback plays a crucial role in shaping the final product. Balancing user needs with aesthetics comes down to prioritization—functionality always comes first, but a well-crafted UI enhances usability by guiding users intuitively through an interface.

How Gaming and Woodworking Influence UX Design

Gaming and woodworking both influence my design approach in unique ways. Gaming teaches me about interactive design, user engagement, and intuitive navigation, while woodworking reinforces the importance of precision, structure, and craftsmanship. Whether I’m building a chair or designing a digital interface, the process is similar—start with a strong foundation, refine the details, and ensure the final product is functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Overcoming Design Challenges: Rumble Advertising Center Redesign

One of the biggest challenges was redesigning the Rumble Advertising Center while ensuring a smooth transition for existing users. Balancing major improvements with user familiarity required a careful approach. By conducting extensive user testing and iterating based on feedback, we managed to create a more intuitive and efficient platform without alienating long-time users. Now, hopefully, seeing the positive impact of that redesign will be a rewarding moment in my career.

Debunking UX/UI Design Misconceptions

A common misconception is that UX/UI design is just about making things “look nice.” When people ask what I do, instead of saying UX/UI design, I sometimes joke that I “draw things on a computer.” In reality, UX/UI design is about problem-solving—understanding user needs, improving usability, and ensuring that interfaces are intuitive and efficient. A good design isn’t just visually appealing; it’s functional, accessible, and enhances the overall user experience.

Martin doesn’t just lead through design—he leads by example. His story reminds us that when we invest in people, we don’t just create better products—we build stronger teams. If his journey sparked something in you, maybe it’s time to rethink how we approach design—whether it’s in the way we build platforms, support growth, or shape our own careers.

Why remote content strategists, editors, and SEO experts are the engine behind high-performing media brands

In today’s content economy, media companies live and die by their ability to capture attention—and convert it. With endless competition, fleeting user attention spans, and the pressure to continuously grow traffic and revenue, editorial teams are being stretched to their limits.

The truth is, churning out content is no longer enough. You need the right content, delivered consistently, optimized for the right audience, and designed to move readers along a journey—from curiosity to action.

That’s where dedicated content teams step in. They don’t just fill talent gaps—they bring clarity, consistency, and conversion-focused strategy to your content operations.

The Pressure Points: What Media Teams Are Really Up Against

It’s not uncommon for digital publishing teams to start strong—ideas flow, content goes live, engagement spikes. But over time, challenges creep in:

Content volume vs. quality

Deadlines loom. Calendars fill. Writers burn out. The focus shifts from strategy to survival, and the brand voice gets diluted.

When your in-house team is already producing numerous pieces of content monthly, adding even more can create unsustainable pressure. Suddenly, your carefully cultivated brand voice begins to waver. Articles that once took a few revisions now require many more. The meticulous fact-checking process gets compressed. Headlines become more sensational than substantive.

The numbers tell the story: Publications that significantly increase content output without expanding their team typically see a notable decline in engagement metrics within months. This isn’t just about statistics—it’s about sustainability.

SEO that’s constantly changing

Search engine algorithms evolve constantly. Without a dedicated SEO expert on hand, your content might stop ranking—or worse, never rank at all.

Today’s SEO isn’t just about keywords—it’s about search intent, user experience signals, structured data, and hundreds of other ranking factors. Google’s core updates can shift your traffic patterns overnight, with sites reporting significant fluctuations after major algorithm changes.

When your team lacks specialized SEO support, even great content can languish unseen. We’ve observed content teams producing excellent material that generates substantially less traffic than its potential simply because basic SEO principles weren’t applied consistently.

Google Analytics numbers going down

High traffic, low ROI

You’re getting the pageviews, but engagement is dropping. Time-on-page is low, bounce rates are high, and newsletter signups? Flatlined.

The disconnect between traffic and value is a growing crisis for publishers. Case in point: A site with substantial monthly visitors but only brief average session times and few pages per session isn’t building a sustainable audience—it’s renting temporary attention.

Without strategic conversion pathways, even high-traffic publications struggle to monetize. We regularly see sites with impressive visitor numbers but subscription conversion rates well below what industry benchmarks suggest is achievable with optimized content journeys.

Not enough time to think

When your team is always in production mode, there’s no time for reflection or experimentation. Strategy gets pushed to “next quarter,” again and again.

The most innovative content strategies emerge from analysis, not autopilot. Yet when editors spend most of their time managing production workflows, strategic thinking becomes a luxury. The cost? Missed opportunities to develop new content verticals, experiment with emerging formats, or refine audience targeting.

Sound familiar? You’re not alone—and you don’t need to hire an entire in-house department to fix it.

Content volume vs. quality

The Dedicated Team Model: Built for Modern Media Companies

At Cosmic Development, we’ve helped digital publishers, ad networks, and content platforms scale their output without compromising on quality. The secret? Remote, integrated, dedicated teams. Many digital media companies have already discovered the advantages of this approach.

These aren’t freelancers juggling ten clients. They’re content specialists who act as a true extension of your brand. Here’s how they help:

1. Content Strategists: Your Editorial Architects

Think of your content strategist as the blueprint maker. They don’t just pick topics—they build roadmaps aligned with business goals, SEO potential, and audience behavior.

What they bring:

The difference is in the details. When a dedicated content strategist evaluates your publication, they don’t just see individual articles—they see interconnected systems. They identify content gaps where reader questions go unanswered. They recognize opportunities to transform single articles into multi-part series that keep readers engaged over time.

With access to both your analytics and industry benchmarks, these strategists can make recommendations backed by data. Having a dedicated employee focused on content strategy ensures consistent vision and execution across all your publications.

For example, analysis might reveal that your finance content drives 3x more newsletter signups than your technology content—even though both generate similar traffic. This insight shifts resource allocation and focuses your team on high-conversion topics.

Most importantly, content strategists elevate planning from tactical to strategic. Instead of simply filling a calendar, they’re answering crucial questions like:

2. Editors: The Voice Keepers

Good writing informs. Great editing transforms. Remote editors ensure every asset—article, script, landing page—reads like it came from your core team. They’re also a secret weapon for consistency when working with multiple writers.

 What they bring:

Editors do far more than fix grammar and punctuation. They’re guardians of your publication’s voice and credibility. In a media landscape where trust is currency, consistent quality can be your greatest differentiator.

The practical impact is significant. When publications implement dedicated editing resources, we typically see:

Beyond basic quality control, specialized editors bring subject matter expertise to complex topics. They can distinguish between superficial coverage and genuine insight, pushing content from “what everyone else is saying” to “what only we can say.”

For growing publications, editors also serve as vital knowledge repositories. They document institutional standards, train new writers, and ensure continuity even as your team evolves.

3. SEO Experts: The Visibility Engineers

Your best content means nothing if no one sees it. SEO experts ensure your work reaches the right audience—organically and consistently.

What they bring:

Modern SEO is both art and science. It requires continuous analysis, adaptation, and implementation—tasks that often fall through the cracks for busy editorial teams. Following proven SEO strategies can transform how your content performs in search results.

Dedicated SEO specialists transform this approach. Working alongside your content team, they ensure every piece is optimized before publication, not as an afterthought. This proactive strategy typically yields:

Beyond individual content optimization, SEO Specialists build systematic advantages. They implement structured data that helps search engines interpret your content. They identify technical barriers limiting your site’s performance. They build internal linking structures that distribute ranking power effectively.

Perhaps most valuably, they provide competitive intelligence—analyzing what works for industry leaders and identifying opportunities they’ve missed. This strategic guidance helps you capture targeted traffic others overlook.

4. Analytics Specialists: The Data Translators

In digital publishing, intuition isn’t enough. You need clear insights into what’s working, what isn’t, and why.

What they bring:

google analytics

Analytics specialists close the feedback loop between content creation and business results. They transform raw data into actionable intelligence, answering questions like:

The practical impact? Publications with dedicated analytics support typically see:

Most importantly, analytics specialists end the guesswork about what’s working. They replace opinion-based decisions with evidence-based strategy, ensuring your content investments deliver measurable returns.

This trio—strategist, editor, SEO—works in sync to deliver content that’s not just seen, but acted on.

Why Remote? Why Dedicated?

You might be wondering: “Can’t I just hire freelancers or agencies for this?” Sure. But you’ll quickly find the trade-offs:

KEY CRITERIA FREELANCERS AGENCIES DEDICATED REMOTE TEAMS
AVAILABILITY Unpredictable availability Rigid scopes, slower feedback loops Fully integrated with your workflows
STRATEGIC INPUT Limited strategic input Higher costs for long-term work Scalable and cost-effective
BRAND UNDERSTANDING Minimal brand immersion Project-based, not mission-based Committed to your vision and KPIs
CONTINUITY Frequent context switching Team rotation common Consistent personnel over time
KNOWLEDGE RETENTION Limited institutional memory Dependent on account managers Deep understanding that compounds
COST STRUCTURE Variable, project-based Premium pricing with overhead Predictable, often lower long-term cost
RESPONSE TIME Varies by workload Scheduled in advance Responsive to dynamic needs

Dedicated teams offer the best of both worlds: flexibility + commitment. You don’t just get content—you get people who care about the success of that content. The benefits of working with dedicated teams extend beyond just content creation to comprehensive business growth.

Economics also makes compelling sense. Consider this comparison for a mid-sized digital publisher:

Traditional Staffing Approach

  • Full-time content strategist
  • Full-time editor
  • Full-time SEO specialist
  • Benefits, equipment, and overhead costs

Dedicated Team Alternative

  • Fractional content strategist, editor, and SEO specialist through a dedicated team model
  • Fully scalable up or down as needed
  • HR and admin are taken care of
  • Lower long-term costs with greater flexibility

The dedicated model delivers comparable or superior capabilities at a significantly lower cost, with added flexibility to scale resources as your needs evolve. When comparing dedicated team vs outsourcing options, the dedicated approach offers clear advantages for content-focused businesses.

Ready to Scale Your Content With Intention?

Your audience deserves more than clickbait. Your business deserves more than traffic for traffic’s sake. A dedicated content team helps you publish with purpose—and grow with confidence.

The path forward begins with an honest assessment:

If you answered “NO” to any of these questions, it could be time to consider a smarter way forward.

Let’s talk about how a dedicated content team can help you scale faster, streamline operations, and build a more sustainable digital media business.

If you’re ready to take your content strategy to the next level, get in touch—we’d be happy to help you build the right team to make it happen.

Progress rarely announces itself with fanfare. More often, it arrives quietly, disguised as a choice, a shift in mindset, or a single decision made with clarity and intent. That’s what Accelerate Action is really about. It’s not speed for the sake of movement but purpose in motion. It’s knowing when to pause and when to leap and having the awareness to do both with conviction.

At its core, Accelerate Action is a mindset that values intention over urgency and meaningful change over performative productivity. It’s visible in how people show up for each other, how challenges are met without fear, and how small steps, repeated consistently, transform into something substantial.

Accelerate Action at Cosmic Development means stepping forward when it’s easier to stay still. It means saying “yes” to challenges, empowering individuals, and creating momentum across every layer of our company—from internal teams to the communities we serve.

Accelerating Action from the Inside Out

Last month, we had the pleasure of hosting a transformative workshop led by renowned leadership and communication coach Irena Jakimova. Timed around International Women’s Day, the session brought together a group of women from our Cosmic Development team to build skills and connect, reflect, and gain clarity on how they want to lead and grow.

Focused on leadership presence, self-awareness, and inner strength, the workshop offered practical tools to communicate with authenticity and lead with intention. For many participants, it served as both a mirror and a compass—revealing personal insights while pointing toward meaningful growth.

The experience was a powerful reminder that Accelerate Action doesn’t begin with rushing or grand gestures. It starts from within—with a pause, a breath, and the decision to trust ourselves as we move forward with purpose.

Turning Ideas Into Innovation

Accelerate Action also means creating space for ideas to grow and for people to feel empowered to act on them. At our company, we believe that innovation doesn’t always require big budgets or formal programs. Sometimes, it begins with a simple question: “What if we tried it this way?”

We’ve seen team members suggest workflow improvements that help deliver projects more efficiently or introduce new tools that enhance client collaboration. Others have taken the initiative to share knowledge across departments, improving how we approach challenges as a company.

This open, collaborative culture fosters creativity with purpose. By encouraging people to take ownership, test new approaches, and learn from the process, we strengthen our internal teams and create better outcomes for our clients.

Supporting Growth Beyond the Role

Accelerate Action also means supporting people as they grow beyond their day-to-day roles. At Cosmic Development, that includes backing team members who want to attend conferences, explore online learning, or take on new responsibilities outside their usual scope. What matters is the space to try, reflect, and move forward with intention.

Growth doesn’t always happen within the job description. That’s why we encourage experimentation, reflection, and practical learning. When someone brings an idea that fits our values and goals, we do our best to support it—because progress is easier when shared.

Promoting Well-Being and Collaboration

Well-being, too, is a form of action. It is often overlooked but always essential. Recognizing that a healthy team is productive, we invest in wellness programs and team-building activities. These initiatives strengthen bonds, enhance collaboration, and contribute to a positive work environment where everyone feels valued and motivated.

But beyond scheduled activities, well-being also comes from the everyday tone we set—how we communicate, support one another, and create space to pause when needed. Small moments of connection, movement, or space to pause when needed contribute to a culture where people feel grounded and open. That’s usually when the best ideas surface—when people feel good and like they belong.

Extending Acceleration to Our Communities

Acceleration doesn’t stop at the edge of the workplace. Through long-standing philanthropic efforts, Cosmic Development continues to bring action into the wider world—guided by five core pillars: supporting families in need, empowering youth, promoting sustainability, encouraging employee-led initiatives, and sponsoring sports. These values take shape in many ways: donating essentials to underprivileged families, opening doors for young people through internships and mentorship, backing local athletes and talents, and environmental projects. Employees are encouraged to give back and are supported in turning their ideas into action. The goal has never been just to contribute but to do so with intention. Real impact happens when people care enough to act—and when companies create the space for that to happen.

Looking Ahead, Together

Accelerating action isn’t about doing more; it’s about doing better. The energy behind recent initiatives has made one thing clear: people aren’t just looking to grow; they want to contribute, lead, and create meaningful change.

At Cosmic Development, that momentum is met with support, trust, and space to move. Accelerate Action is more than a phrase; it’s a mindset that shapes how we work, lead, and show up for one another. It’s about building a culture where taking initiative is encouraged and expected. When action is intentional and shared, it strengthens the culture we’re building: one that values courage, thoughtfulness, and people above all.

Scaling your company? Picture this.

Your company is finally gaining momentum. The product is out in the world, customers are signing up, and revenue is rising. Every metric you care about is headed in the right direction.

But inside the business, things are starting to crack.

Your developers are working late nights to keep up with feature requests, customer support is overwhelmed with tickets, and the marketing team is behind on launches. Everyone is doing more than one job, and the pressure is mounting.

It’s the kind of problem most companies dream of—but that doesn’t make it any easier to solve.

If you’re growing quickly, you’ve likely felt this tension: how do you scale without overwhelming your team, draining your budget, or stalling the very growth you’ve worked so hard to achieve?

But what if you didn’t have to choose between speed and sustainability?

What if scaling didn’t mean pushing your developers to work nights and weekends just to meet launch deadlines—or watching your marketing plans stall because there simply aren’t enough hands to execute?

What if you could stop running your team in survival mode—constantly reacting, patching gaps, and making trade-offs that cost you in quality, morale, and momentum?

The truth is, rapid growth often brings hidden costs:

  • Burned-out employees
  • Slower time-to-market
  • Missed opportunities
  • Overwhelmed leadership
  • Months spent recruiting the “perfect hire” while work piles up

That’s why more and more companies are turning to dedicated teams—a flexible, scalable model that brings in the talent you need, when you need it, without the overhead or long-term risk of hiring too fast.

It’s a smarter, more sustainable way to grow—and a proven way to relieve pressure while keeping your business moving forward.

What Is a Dedicated Team?

A dedicated team is a group of skilled professionals—software developers, QA engineers, customer support agents, content creators, digital marketers, and more—who work exclusively on your projects but are hired and supported by a trusted external partner.

This isn’t traditional outsourcing. A dedicated team is:

  • Embedded in your day-to-day work
  • Fully aligned with your internal processes
  • Committed to your goals
  • Managed by you

You get the expertise and capacity of an in-house team—without the months of recruiting, onboarding, and administrative hassle.

The Founder’s Dilemma: Hire Fast or Scale Smart?

Let’s go back to that growing company. The founder knows more hands are needed. But hiring locally is expensive, time-consuming, and risky. Pausing growth isn’t an option, and overloading the team further would lead to burnout or missed deadlines.

That’s where dedicated teams change the game.

With a dedicated team, the founder could:

  • Build a development team in 2–4 weeks
  • Launch a new marketing campaign while internal hires catch up
  • Add customer support coverage across time zones
  • Test a new product idea without committing to long-term headcount

Suddenly, growth feels possible again—because it’s supported by the right structure.

Why a Dedicated Team Is the Smartest Move for Scaling

Here’s what companies gain when they go this route:

1. Faster Time to Execution

Hiring locally can take 2–3 months (or more). A dedicated team can be assembled and onboarded in weeks. That means products ship faster, campaigns launch on time and support coverage scales in real-time.

2. Less Pressure on Internal Teams

Instead of asking your existing team to do even more, a dedicated team takes over specific functions—so your core team can stay focused on strategy and innovation.

3. Access to Specialized Talent

Need a senior developer? A performance marketer? A support agent? A remote talent partner gives you access to talent you may not find locally—at a fraction of the cost.

4. Flexibility to Grow (or Pivot)

Dedicated teams scale with your business. Add new roles when needed. Shift responsibilities. Even pause if priorities change. You have the flexibility to scale your team based on evolving needs—without being locked into rigid contracts.

5. Full Control—Without the Admin Headache

You manage the team. Set the priorities. Monitor performance. Meanwhile, we handle recruitment, contracts, payroll, HR, and compliance—so you don’t have to.

Real Companies, Real Results

At Cosmic Development, we’ve helped fast-growing companies across North America and UK scale smarter by building dedicated teams tailored to their needs.

Some recent examples:

  • A video platform built an entire backend team with us to meet aggressive product deadlines, without expanding their in-house headcount.
  • A content-driven media company added a dedicated marketing and editorial team, doubling content output while reducing costs.
  • A growing marketing agency built a dedicated digital team with us—adding content creators, paid media specialists, and designers—to take on new client projects without overwhelming their in-house staff. Within weeks, they increased delivery capacity and improved campaign turnaround time across multiple accounts.

In each case, the dedicated team became a long-term extension of the company—driving results while reducing strain on internal resources.

How It Works with Cosmic Development

The process is simple, strategic, and tailored to you.

  1. We listen. We start by understanding your goals, challenges, team gaps, and budget.
  2. We build. Based on your needs, we source and propose vetted professionals who match your technical and cultural requirements.
  3. You lead. You choose the team members, set the roadmap, and integrate them into your workflows.
  4. We support. We handle everything else—HR, equipment, contracts, compliance.

You get a high-performing, dedicated team—fully focused on your growth.

Scale Without the Strain

Growth doesn’t have to come at the expense of your internal team. You don’t have to compromise speed, quality, or sanity to meet your goals.

A dedicated team helps you:

  • Stay lean
  • Move faster
  • Reduce risk
  • Focus on what really matters.

Whether you’re launching a product, entering new markets, or simply trying to keep up with growing demand—a dedicated team can give you the edge you need.

A lot can change in three years, especially when you’re part of a company that never stands still. Since her last interview, Ivana’s role has expanded, her leadership has evolved, and she’s continued contributing to Rumble’s growth alongside the team at Cosmic Development. But some things have stayed the same—her dedication, passion, and ability to navigate every new challenge.

As Rumble grew from a rising platform into a major player in the industry, Ivana’s role evolved with it. Leading through constant change, she’s adapted to new challenges, strengthened her leadership, and supported the team through each stage of growth.

We caught up with Ivana to discuss the past decade, the defining moments of her career, and what motivates her.

Since your last interview three years ago, how has your role evolved, and what new skills have you developed?

Over the past three years, my role as a manager has evolved significantly. I have taken on more strategic responsibilities, ensuring the team remains motivated, focused, and aligned with company goals. Managing through challenges, such as adapting to changing platform requirements and market trends, has strengthened my ability to lead effectively.

I have also developed new skills, including advanced team management techniques, conflict resolution, and data-driven decision-making, to improve performance during this time. Even though I hold a master’s degree in management, I have continued to enhance my expertise through professional training programs to refine my leadership approach.

Additionally, I have deepened my ability to support team members during difficult periods, ensuring they remain motivated and productive. This has contributed to maintaining a strong team dynamic and achieving consistent results.

Over the past decade, what has been the most defining moment of your career at Cosmic, and why does it stand out?

One of the most defining moments of my career at Cosmic was being invited to New York City when Rumble went public. As one of the first employees, being part of that milestone was an incredible honor and a testament to our company’s journey. It was a moment that truly highlighted how far we’ve come—from a small, dedicated team to a publicly traded company making waves in the industry.

That experience stood out because it wasn’t just about celebrating success; it was about seeing firsthand the impact of years of hard work, persistence, and belief in what we were building. Standing in NYC, surrounded by the team that helped make it happen, was surreal and inspiring.

Moments like that remind me why I’ve dedicated so much to this company—it’s like raising a child, watching it grow, overcome obstacles, and finally take its place on the global stage. They reinforce my passion for our work and motivate me to keep pushing forward.

How would you describe your leadership style, and what has managing a team taught you about leading and motivating others?

My leadership style is supportive, motivational, and results-driven. I believe in leading by example, fostering open communication, and creating an environment where my team feels empowered to take ownership of their work.

Managing a team has taught me that everyone is different, and understanding what motivates each person is key to unlocking their full potential. Some thrive on challenges, others need reassurance, and some respond best to structured guidance. Adaptability is crucial. I’ve learned that clear expectations, regular feedback, and celebrating achievements go a long way in keeping morale high and performance strong.

Above all, leading a team has shown me that trust and collaboration are the foundation of success. When people feel valued and supported, they are more engaged, creative, and willing to go the extra mile.

Having been with Cosmic for 10 years, how have you seen the company change and grow? What has been your favorite part of being part of this journey?

Over the past decade, I’ve seen Cosmic and Rumble evolve significantly from a growing platform into a major competitor in the online video space. The company has expanded its reach, improved its technology, and built a strong community of creators looking for alternatives to traditional platforms. The most exciting change has been seeing how Rumble positioned itself as a competitor to YouTube, offering more monetization options and greater freedom for content creators.

Being part of this journey has felt like raising a child—watching it grow, overcome challenges, and develop into something incredible. From its early stages to where it is now, I’ve seen firsthand how much effort, dedication, and innovation have gone into making it what it is today.

My favorite part has been witnessing this transformation and helping creators succeed on the platform. Being part of a company that champions independent voices and provides real opportunities for growth has been incredibly rewarding. Working with passionate people who believe in the mission has been inspiring, and I look forward to seeing how we continue to innovate and expand in the future.

Reflecting on your Cosmic experience, how has working here shaped you personally and professionally? What advice would you give to your younger self when you first joined?

Working at Cosmic for Rumble has been a transformative experience, both personally and professionally. Over the years, I’ve grown in ways I never expected—developing stronger leadership skills, resilience, and the ability to adapt to constant change. Managing a team, navigating challenges, and helping the company evolve has taught me the importance of perseverance and strategic thinking.

On a personal level, this journey has pushed me beyond my comfort zone, proving that growth comes from challenges. It has reinforced the idea that you will never know your limits until you push yourself to them. Each obstacle I faced became an opportunity to learn, and every success reminded me why hard work and dedication matter.

If I could advise my younger self when I first joined, it would be:

  • Embrace challenges—they will shape you more than easy wins.
  • Trust the process—growth takes time, and every experience adds value.
  • Stay open to learning—no matter how much you know, there’s always more to discover.

Cosmic and Rumble have been more than just a workplace—it has been a place of continuous growth, innovation, and opportunity, and I’m grateful for every lesson along the way.

Ivana’s story reminds us that growth isn’t just about the company—it’s about the people who shape it. Her dedication and leadership have been a driving force behind Cosmic and Rumble’s journey, and there’s no doubt she’ll continue making an impact in the years ahead.

Your content platform is growing, engagement is soaring, and new opportunities are on the horizon. But as exciting as that sounds, there’s a challenge – your team is stretched thin, deadlines are piling up, and hiring in-house feels slow and expensive.

This is the reality for many digital media companies as they scale. The demand for high-quality content never stops, but expanding efficiently while keeping costs under control? That’s a balancing act.

So, how do successful media companies manage to produce more content, maintain consistency, and optimize their workflows – all without the burden of in-house hiring? The answer lies in dedicated teams.

Scaling Without the Growing Pains

Every digital media company wants to scale, but not every company can afford to build a massive in-house team overnight. Traditional hiring comes with significant costs – salaries, benefits, equipment, and training – not to mention the time it takes to find and onboard the right talent.

Dedicated teams solve this problem by offering instant access to skilled professionals who integrate seamlessly into your existing workflows. Whether you need video editors to create engaging content, a content moderation team to ensure quality and compliance, or developers to optimize platform performance, a dedicated team provides the expertise without the hassle of recruiting and managing full-time hires.

And the best part? Scaling up (or down) becomes effortless. Instead of scrambling to hire when demand spikes – or making tough cuts when things slow down – you have a flexible workforce that adjusts to your business needs. This ensures continuous growth without disruption.

Streamlining Production: More Content, Less Stress

As digital media companies expand, so do the demands on their production teams. Editorial calendars grow, video content becomes more complex, and the pressure to deliver high-quality material faster than ever keeps increasing. Keeping up isn’t easy, especially when internal teams are juggling multiple responsibilities.

Dedicated teams help ease this burden by taking on high-volume production tasks, such as video editing, content moderation, or managing social media assets. These specialized professionals focus entirely on execution, making production cycles more efficient, reducing turnaround times, and keeping content quality consistent.

With a dedicated team handling execution, your core staff can shift their focus to strategy, creativity, and audience engagement – knowing that operations are running smoothly. This removes bottlenecks, optimizes workflows, and keeps content moving seamlessly from ideation to publication.

The result? Less stress, higher output, and a production process that actually flows.

Optimizing Workflows Without the Extra Overhead

Scaling isn’t just about producing more content – it’s about doing so efficiently without sacrificing quality or stability. However, expanding an in-house team comes with significant overhead costs, from salaries and benefits to recruitment and infrastructure.

A dedicated team offers a smarter alternative – not as a short-term fix, but as a long-term extension of your business. Unlike freelancers or project-based outsourcing, dedicated teams provide stability, expertise, and seamless integration into your existing workflows. These are full-time professionals who become embedded in your daily operations, aligning with your goals and evolving alongside your business.

Here’s why this model works so well:

  • Consistent expertise at scale – Your dedicated team grows with your company, ensuring continuity and a deep understanding of your processes, brand voice, and objectives.
  • No hiring and training headaches – Skip the recruitment cycles and onboarding process. Your dedicated team is already trained, fully committed, and ready to contribute from day one.
  • More efficient budget allocation – By reducing the administrative costs of in-house hiring, you can reinvest in content innovation, audience engagement, and strategic growth while maintaining a stable and skilled workforce.

Instead of managing a revolving door of short-term hires, companies that work with dedicated teams gain a scalable, long-term solution – one that allows them to stay agile, competitive, and focused on what truly matters.

The Secret to Staying Agile in a Fast-Moving Industry

The digital media industry is constantly evolving – trends shift overnight, audience preferences change, and new content formats emerge at a rapid pace. Staying ahead isn’t just about producing more content; it’s about having the right team in place to adapt, innovate, and execute efficiently.

Dedicated teams provide this agility by offering specialized talent that integrates seamlessly into your operations. Whether you’re expanding into new content verticals, localizing for global audiences, or experimenting with new formats, a dedicated team ensures you can move fast without compromising quality or overburdening your internal staff.

Unlike short-term outsourcing or project-based hiring, dedicated teams are built for long-term collaboration. They evolve alongside your company, gaining deep knowledge of your workflows, audience, and brand voice – allowing you to scale strategically rather than reactively.

More Than Just Outsourcing – A Smarter Way to Grow

For digital media companies, success isn’t just about keeping up with demand – it’s about staying ahead of it. That requires a stable, scalable team that can handle production needs today while preparing for the challenges of tomorrow.

By working with a dedicated team, you’re not just outsourcing tasks; you’re building a long-term partnership that strengthens your ability to grow, optimize workflows, and focus on what matters most – delivering exceptional content to your audience.

If your company is ready to scale without unnecessary overhead, operational bottlenecks, or hiring struggles, a dedicated team might be the key to unlocking sustainable, long-term growth in an industry that never slows down.

The world of work is evolving at an unprecedented pace. With AI reshaping industries, remote and hybrid work models solidifying, and employees valuing purpose over mere paychecks, 2025 is the year to take charge of your career in new and strategic ways. Starting fresh or looking to move forward in your current role, these career strategies will help you evolve and advance in the future.

Adopt a Skills-First Mindset

The days when degrees alone guaranteed success are gone. The key is to stay ahead by continuously upskilling. Platforms like Coursera, Udemy, and LinkedIn Learning make it easier than ever to acquire in-demand skills such as:

  • AI literacy (prompt engineering, automation)
  • Digital marketing and data analytics
  • Leadership in remote/hybrid settings
  • Emotional intelligence and adaptability

Cosmic Development also supports lifelong learning through knowledge-sharing initiatives and professional development programs. We encourage our people to stay curious, take on new challenges, and seek mentorship to solidify their expertise.

Build Your Personal Skillset

The only way to build a resilient career is to embrace continuous learning and refine your skills. Each of us has a unique background, strengths, and interests—use them to your advantage. Instead of trying to fit into a predefined mold, focus on developing the skills that set you apart and make you valuable in your field.

Master the Art of AI Collaboration

AI won’t replace you, but someone who knows how to use AI effectively might. In today’s workplace, AI tools enhance efficiency across multiple roles, from marketing and HR to customer support, project management, and software development. That’s why it’s important to learn how AI can support your daily tasks.

Here are some ways AI can improve your workflow:

  • IT Professionals & Developers: AI-driven automation is revolutionizing workflows. Understanding machine learning fundamentals, AI-powered coding assistants, and automation frameworks can set you apart in the industry.
  • Content Creators & Marketers: Use tools like ChatGPT or Notion AI for brainstorming, content drafting, and social media strategy.
  • Project Managers & Operations Teams: AI can help automate routine tasks and improve team coordination. Tools like Zapier, Power Automate, and Trello AI can simplify workflows and enhance productivity.
  • HR & Recruitment: AI-driven analytics can improve hiring decisions by analyzing candidate data, identifying top talent, and enhancing employee engagement strategies.
  • Customer Support & Sales: AI chatbots and CRM automation can help manage inquiries and improve client interactions.

Regardless of your field, staying informed on ethical AI usage and how to integrate AI into your workflow will be crucial in staying competitive in 2025. And remember, companies are looking for employees who can leverage technology, not fear it.

Embrace Career Fluidity

Careers no longer follow a straight path, and that’s good. Growth can come in many forms—exploring new roles within your company, taking on freelance work to build new skills, or collaborating with different teams to expand your experience. Staying open to change can lead to unexpected opportunities and a more fulfilling career. Here are some ways to keep evolving:

  • Internal Mobility: Look for opportunities within your company to take on new challenges and gain fresh experience.
  • Freelancing: Side projects can help you develop new skills, expand your network, and provide an additional income stream.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Working with different teams can broaden your skills and make you more adaptable.

By staying flexible and embracing change, you’ll be better equipped to navigate the modern workplace and create a career path that truly works for you.

Cultivate a Healthy Work-Life Integration

Finding the right balance between work and personal life is essential for your well-being. With burnout becoming more common, many companies offer better support for employees’ mental and physical health. But real balance starts with small, intentional choices. Set boundaries that allow you to unplug after work, take short breaks to recharge your mind, and don’t hesitate to ask for flexibility when you need it. If your workplace provides mental health resources, make use of them. Taking care of yourself isn’t a luxury; it helps you show up as your best self at work and in life.

Network with Purpose

Networking is more than collecting business cards at events—it’s about building meaningful connections. Engage in industry discussions, join relevant online communities, and search for mentors who can offer guidance and fresh perspectives. Sometimes, one meaningful conversation can open doors to new opportunities.

Future-Proof Your Career with an Adaptive Mindset

The job market will keep changing, and the best way to stay relevant is to remain adaptable. Follow industry trends, be open to learning new things, and don’t fear change – embrace it.

Final Thoughts

2025 can be the perfect time to take charge of your career. Stay curious, embrace new technologies, and keep building your skills. The workplace is changing, and those willing to grow and adapt will stay ahead. At Cosmic Development, we cultivate a culture of learning and innovation. We’d love to connect if you want a workplace that values professional growth and fresh opportunities!

Cosmic Development isn’t just about delivering exceptional IT solutions; it’s about celebrating the people who make it happen. Today, we’re pulling back the curtain on Igor Stojanov, one of our SEO specialists whose story is as inspiring as it is insightful. From his early days building Facebook fan pages to becoming a master of digital discovery, Igor’s career has been a thrilling ride through the ever-changing world of SEO.

His story reminds us that success in this field goes beyond algorithms and keywords—it’s fueled by passion and a forward-thinking mindset. At Cosmic Development, we’re proud to have Igor on our team, and his expertise and dedication continue to elevate our digital presence.

Here’s what he had to share.

What inspired you to pursue a career in SEO, and how did your journey in the digital marketing world begin?

My journey into SEO began organically, intertwined with the rise of social media in the early 2010s. As a digital marketing enthusiast, I found myself deeply immersed in the rapidly evolving online landscape. My initial foray was managing a Facebook fan page dedicated to music, which gradually evolved into a comprehensive blog showcasing local bands and artists from the ex-Yugoslav region. This project’s success led to its further expansion into an online radio station, broadening our digital footprint.

During this growth period, I recognized the critical importance of search discoverability. The need to make the content accessible to a broader audience naturally led me to develop my initial SEO skills, focusing on optimizing the website to reach broader local audiences. This hands-on experience ignited a passion for understanding and leveraging search engines effectively.

As my interest in SEO deepened, I actively sought out various projects in the field to gain some expertise. My academic background in Computer Science provided a strong technical foundation. Moreover, the opportunity to complete an SEO Specialization at UC Davis through a scholarship was a pivotal moment, solidifying my decision to pursue SEO as my primary career path.

How has working at Cosmic Development helped you grow further professionally?

The collaborative culture at Cosmic Development has played a crucial role in expanding my skill set. As a core member of the SEO team, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with the PPC team, fostering a synergy that has deepened my understanding. This cross-disciplinary collaboration has refined my SEO expertise and broadened my perspective on how various digital marketing disciplines interconnect.

Collaboration with developers across various platforms has provided invaluable technical skills, enabling me to effectively bridge the gap between marketing strategies and their technical implementation.

Cosmic Development’s commitment to professional growth has also been integral to my personal Development. The company’s investment in my continuous education through specialized courses has ensured I remain at the forefront of SEO and PPC trends. Beyond that, the mentorship I’ve received from industry experts with decades of experience has had the most impact on my growth. Their insights have refined my strategic thinking, expanded my industry knowledge, and equipped me to tackle challenges effectively. This guidance has enhanced my decision-making and shaped my leadership style, which is focused on collaboration, innovation, and problem-solving.

What do you find most exciting about the ever-changing landscape of SEO, and how do you stay updated with the latest trends and algorithms?

The evolving landscape of SEO is incredibly dynamic, and I’m drawn to how technological advances are reshaping search strategies. The recent dip in Google’s search market share—dropping below 90% for the first time since 2015—goes beyond numbers; it points to a fundamental transformation in how users discover and interact with online content.

AI’s emergence is compelling. These updates aren’t just incremental but represent a complete reimagining of how searches operate. We’re shifting from keyword-driven results to intelligent, context-aware answers that grasp user intent at a deeper level.

This has substantial implications for SEO. Websites will need to cater to both human readers and AI systems, requiring a more precise, structured approach that balances technical accuracy and genuine user value.

Platforms like TikTok also affect search patterns among younger audiences, which calls for flexibility and insight across different channels. Staying effective in SEO means following industry leaders, attending targeted events, and maintaining an active curiosity about new technologies.

This isn’t just about keeping up with changes – it’s about anticipating and shaping the future of digital discovery.

Can you share an example of an SEO strategy you implemented for a client that delivered outstanding results?

In the complex world of digital marketing, some projects pose more intricate challenges than others. The work with a multi-channel retailer is a clear example—success hinged on boosting online visibility while ensuring customers walked into the physical stores.

Picture a local business aiming for a strong online presence and higher foot traffic. Basic SEO alone wasn’t enough. Our first step involved improving the site’s technical foundation to ensure pages were optimized for user experience and search engines.

From there, we went beyond conventional keyword tactics. We used a semantic strategy, focusing on search intent instead of chasing high-volume terms. Detailed competitor research and local search analysis guided a plan that spoke directly to potential customers ready to act.

Treating each store location as its own environment was another vital element. We crafted hyper-local content tuned to community interests, fine-tuned Google Business Profile listings, and maintained a personal feel across all digital channels. The results were transformative. Search rankings climbed, store visits increased, and we witnessed a tangible connection between digital strategy and offline business performance. More importantly, we demonstrated that effective SEO is about understanding human behavior and creating seamless digital experiences.

What is your biggest challenge as an SEO specialist, and how do you overcome it?

As an SEO specialist, one of my primary challenges is keeping pace with ever-evolving search engine algorithms. Frequent updates—particularly from Google—require swift adjustments to maintain effective strategies. I regularly consult leading industry sources, including authoritative blogs and forums, to meet this need and attend relevant webinars. Additionally, collaborating with peers to exchange insights and best practices helps me stay ahead of emerging trends. Testing and refining strategies in real time are essential to ensure alignment with the latest algorithmic changes.

Another area of focus is managing client communication, especially when setting realistic expectations. SEO is an inherently long-term endeavor, and while clients often seek rapid outcomes, it is crucial to emphasize that substantial results require time. I prioritize transparent communication by providing consistent updates and progress reports. By clarifying the intricacies of SEO and highlighting key milestones, I help clients feel well-informed and confident of the results that well-implemented SEO techniques will provide.

Stories like Igor’s show how dedication and creativity can shape a career.

As the calendar flips to 2025, we at Cosmic Development reflect on 2024 – a year filled with challenges, inspiration, and remarkable achievements. From meaningful community contributions to professional milestones and celebrations, this past year showcased the extraordinary outcomes of vision and collaboration. Let’s revisit the moments that made 2024 truly unforgettable.

Building Communities, Both Inside and Out

In 2024, we strengthened our greatest asset: our connections—with our team, clients, and the wider community.

Internally, our bonds grew stronger through memorable team experiences. A highlight was our unforgettable team-building trip to Greece, where collaboration flourished. Events like Easterland and Earth Day in Skopje showcased our spirit of togetherness. We celebrated creativity with Halloween and energized our team at the Rumble Afterparty.

Other memorable moments included our wine-and-paint event in Skopje and the Ping-Pong Tournament, both of which offered opportunities to connect, unwind, and enjoy time together as a team.

Externally, we demonstrated our expertise on a global stage. Attending events like the International HR Conference, the Web Summit in Lisbon, and the Ruby Conference allowed us to connect with industry leaders and exchange ideas. Our visits to the Rumble U.S. Headquarters and participation in the International Political CPAC Conference in Budapest further established our reputation as forward-thinkers and trusted voices in our field.

Driving Client Success

2024 was another year of strong partnerships and innovative solutions. We were privileged to work on projects that broke new ground and delivered measurable impact. Whether solving complex challenges or building tailored solutions, our commitment to helping our clients thrive remained steadfast.

Each collaboration allowed us to explore fresh ideas, integrate advanced technologies, and build scalable systems to meet our clients’ evolving needs. Through these efforts, we continued redefining excellence and demonstrating innovation’s power in action.

Making an Impact Beyond the Office

Our commitment to giving back reached new heights in 2024. We supported education and healthcare through initiatives such as donating IT equipment to schools, providing essential supplies to hospitals, and distributing school materials to students. The philanthropic spirit extended to Easterland, blending festive joy with meaningful contributions.

Additionally, we proudly sponsored math prodigy Damjan Davkov, whose extraordinary talent earned him a gold medal at the International Mathematical Olympiad, inspiring excellence and perseverance. We also supported the Prespa Swimming Marathon, celebrating the spirit of resilience and dedication. These efforts reflect our belief that true success is measured by the positive impact we leave on the communities we serve.

Cultivating a Culture of Continuous Learning

Learning is a journey that never ends. In 2024, we prioritized growth for our team and future tech talent.

Our Soft Skills Academy ran throughout the year, equipping employees with tools to lead with empathy, communicate effectively, and solve problems creatively. We also welcomed the next generation of tech talent through our IT Internship Program, where participants gained hands-on experience and insights that prepared them for the demands of the industry.

These initiatives reinforced our commitment to creating an environment where professional development is part of our everyday culture.

Staying Active and Connected

Movement, both physical and metaphorical, defined 2024. From running in the Avicenna Women’s Race and the Halk Eco Run to crossing the finish line at the Wizz Air Marathon and Ohrid Trchat Marathon, we embraced the thrill of movement.

We also inspired the next generation by supporting the Mini Trchaj Be Marathon in Bitola, proving that health and wellness are values we hold close.

Celebrating Cosmic Anniversaries

This year, we celebrated team members who reached significant milestones of five and ten years with Cosmic Development. Their dedication and contributions are the foundation of our success and a testament to the strong culture of belonging within our workplace.

What’s Next?

Looking back fuels our drive to move forward. In 2025, we aim to think bigger, dream bolder, and achieve more. From launching innovative solutions to growing our team and advancing sustainability, we’re ready to make 2025 our best year.

Thank You for Being Part of Our Journey

To our team, clients, and community—thank you for your trust and collaboration. You inspire us to push boundaries and pursue greater heights.

Stay tuned for more stories and milestones in 2025.
