His redesign of the Rumble Advertising Center is a great example of that: a platform transformed not for the sake of change but to make it easier, faster, and better for the people using it every day.

In this interview, Martin shares how his design process has evolved, what stood out during a recent UX conference in Berlin, and how unexpected influences—from video games to woodworking—shape how he approaches digital design. It reflects growth, curiosity, and what it takes to create meaningful user experiences in a fast-moving world.

Background & Career Growth at Cosmic Development

I started at Cosmic Development as a UX/UI designer, where my primary focus was improving the overall platform experience. Over time, I had the opportunity to redesign the entire Rumble Advertising Center, a project that allowed me to refine user flows, modernize the interface, and create a more seamless experience. Now, as the design lead for this project, I oversee the platform’s evolution, ensuring that user experience remains at the forefront.

While I work directly on Rumble’s platform, Cosmic Development has been instrumental in my growth by providing a collaborative and supportive environment. The company supports employees through sponsorship of sports events, access to additional learning platforms, conference attendance, and flexibility in work, allowing me to work remotely at all times. This level of support has enabled me to refine my skills and confidently take on larger design challenges.

Key Insights from FOSS Backstage Berlin Conference

I attended FOSS Backstage in Berlin, a conference focused on open-source design, collaboration, and community-driven development. One of the key takeaways was the increasing importance of transparency in UX design—how open-source principles can be applied to make design decisions more accessible and inclusive. Discussions around ethical design, accessibility, and the role of AI in open-source projects were particularly insightful. The event reinforced the idea that good design isn’t just about aesthetics; it’s about building experiences that are functional, inclusive, and sustainable.

Design Process: Balancing User Needs with Visual Appeal

My design process starts with understanding the problem—this means researching user needs, analyzing data, and defining clear objectives. From there, I create wireframes and prototypes, focusing on usability before refining the visual aspects. Iteration is key, and user feedback plays a crucial role in shaping the final product. Balancing user needs with aesthetics comes down to prioritization—functionality always comes first, but a well-crafted UI enhances usability by guiding users intuitively through an interface.

How Gaming and Woodworking Influence UX Design

Gaming and woodworking both influence my design approach in unique ways. Gaming teaches me about interactive design, user engagement, and intuitive navigation, while woodworking reinforces the importance of precision, structure, and craftsmanship. Whether I’m building a chair or designing a digital interface, the process is similar—start with a strong foundation, refine the details, and ensure the final product is functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Overcoming Design Challenges: Rumble Advertising Center Redesign

One of the biggest challenges was redesigning the Rumble Advertising Center while ensuring a smooth transition for existing users. Balancing major improvements with user familiarity required a careful approach. By conducting extensive user testing and iterating based on feedback, we managed to create a more intuitive and efficient platform without alienating long-time users. Now, hopefully, seeing the positive impact of that redesign will be a rewarding moment in my career.

Debunking UX/UI Design Misconceptions

A common misconception is that UX/UI design is just about making things “look nice.” When people ask what I do, instead of saying UX/UI design, I sometimes joke that I “draw things on a computer.” In reality, UX/UI design is about problem-solving—understanding user needs, improving usability, and ensuring that interfaces are intuitive and efficient. A good design isn’t just visually appealing; it’s functional, accessible, and enhances the overall user experience.

Martin doesn’t just lead through design—he leads by example. His story reminds us that when we invest in people, we don’t just create better products—we build stronger teams. Since your last interview three years ago, how has your role evolved, and what new skills have you developed?

Over the past three years, my role as a manager has evolved significantly. I have taken on more strategic responsibilities, ensuring the team remains motivated, focused, and aligned with company goals. Managing through challenges, such as adapting to changing platform requirements and market trends, has strengthened my ability to lead effectively.

I have also developed new skills, including advanced team management techniques, conflict resolution, and data-driven decision-making, to improve performance during this time. Even though I hold a master’s degree in management, I have continued to enhance my expertise through professional training programs to refine my leadership approach.

Additionally, I have deepened my ability to support team members during difficult periods, ensuring they remain motivated and productive. This has contributed to maintaining a strong team dynamic and achieving consistent results.

Over the past decade, what has been the most defining moment of your career at Cosmic, and why does it stand out?

One of the most defining moments of my career at Cosmic was being invited to New York City when Rumble went public. As one of the first employees, being part of that milestone was an incredible honor and a testament to our company’s journey. It was a moment that truly highlighted how far we’ve come—from a small, dedicated team to a publicly traded company making waves in the industry.

That experience stood out because it wasn’t just about celebrating success; it was about seeing firsthand the impact of years of hard work, persistence, and belief in what we were building. Standing in NYC, surrounded by the team that helped make it happen, was surreal and inspiring.

Moments like that remind me why I’ve dedicated so much to this company—it’s like raising a child, watching it grow, overcome obstacles, and finally take its place on the global stage. They reinforce my passion for our work and motivate me to keep pushing forward.

How would you describe your leadership style, and what has managing a team taught you about leading and motivating others?

My leadership style is supportive, motivational, and results-driven. I believe in leading by example, fostering open communication, and creating an environment where my team feels empowered to take ownership of their work.

Managing a team has taught me that everyone is different, and understanding what motivates each person is key to unlocking their full potential. Some thrive on challenges, others need reassurance, and some respond best to structured guidance. Adaptability is crucial. I’ve learned that clear expectations, regular feedback, and celebrating achievements go a long way in keeping morale high and performance strong.

Above all, leading a team has shown me that trust and collaboration are the foundation of success. When people feel valued and supported, they are more engaged, creative, and willing to go the extra mile.

Having been with Cosmic for 10 years, how have you seen the company change and grow? What has been your favorite part of being part of this journey?

Over the past decade, I’ve seen Cosmic and Rumble evolve significantly from a growing platform into a major competitor in the online video space. The company has expanded its reach, improved its technology, and built a strong community of creators looking for alternatives to traditional platforms. The most exciting change has been seeing how Rumble positioned itself as a competitor to YouTube, offering more monetization options and greater freedom for content creators.

Being part of this journey has felt like raising a child—watching it grow, overcome challenges, and develop into something incredible. From its early stages to where it is now, I’ve seen firsthand how much effort, dedication, and innovation have gone into making it what it is today.

My favorite part has been witnessing this transformation and helping creators succeed on the platform. Being part of a company that champions independent voices and provides real opportunities for growth has been incredibly rewarding. Working with passionate people who believe in the mission has been inspiring, and I look forward to seeing how we continue to innovate and expand in the future.

Reflecting on your Cosmic experience, how has working here shaped you personally and professionally? What advice would you give to your younger self when you first joined?

Working at Cosmic for Rumble has been a transformative experience, both personally and professionally. Over the years, I’ve grown in ways I never expected—developing stronger leadership skills, resilience, and the ability to adapt to constant change. Managing a team, navigating challenges, and helping the company evolve has taught me the importance of perseverance and strategic thinking.

On a personal level, this journey has pushed me beyond my comfort zone, proving that growth comes from challenges. It has reinforced the idea that you will never know your limits until you push yourself to them. Each obstacle I faced became an opportunity to learn, and every success reminded me why hard work and dedication matter.

If I could advise my younger self when I first joined, it would be:

My journey into SEO began organically, intertwined with the rise of social media in the early 2010s. As a digital marketing enthusiast, I found myself deeply immersed in the rapidly evolving online landscape. My initial foray was managing a Facebook fan page dedicated to music, which gradually evolved into a comprehensive blog showcasing local bands and artists from the ex-Yugoslav region. This project’s success led to its further expansion into an online radio station, broadening our digital footprint.

During this growth period, I recognized the critical importance of search discoverability. The need to make the content accessible to a broader audience naturally led me to develop my initial SEO skills, focusing on optimizing the website to reach broader local audiences. This hands-on experience ignited a passion for understanding and leveraging search engines effectively.

As my interest in SEO deepened, I actively sought out various projects in the field to gain some expertise. My academic background in Computer Science provided a strong technical foundation. Moreover, the opportunity to complete an SEO Specialization at UC Davis through a scholarship was a pivotal moment, solidifying my decision to pursue SEO as my primary career path.

How has working at Cosmic Development helped you grow further professionally?

The collaborative culture at Cosmic Development has played a crucial role in expanding my skill set. As a core member of the SEO team, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with the PPC team, fostering a synergy that has deepened my understanding. The evolving landscape of SEO is incredibly dynamic, and I’m drawn to how technological advances are reshaping search strategies. The recent dip in Google’s search market share—dropping below 90% for the first time since 2015—goes beyond numbers; it points to a fundamental transformation in how users discover and interact with online content.

AI’s emergence is compelling. These updates aren’t just incremental but represent a complete reimagining of how searches operate. We’re shifting from keyword-driven results to intelligent, context-aware answers that grasp user intent at a deeper level.

This has substantial implications for SEO. Websites will need to cater to both human readers and AI systems, requiring a more precise, structured approach that balances technical accuracy and genuine user value.

Platforms like TikTok also affect search patterns among younger audiences, which calls for flexibility and insight across different channels. Staying effective in SEO means following industry leaders, attending targeted events, and maintaining an active curiosity about new technologies. 

This isn’t just about keeping up with changes – it’s about anticipating and shaping the future of digital discovery.

Can you share an example of an SEO strategy you implemented for a client that delivered outstanding results?

In the complex world of digital marketing, some projects pose more intricate challenges than others. The work with a multi-channel retailer is a clear example—success hinged on boosting online visibility while ensuring customers walked into the physical stores.

Picture a local business aiming for a strong online presence and higher foot traffic. Basic SEO alone wasn’t enough. Our first step involved improving the site’s technical foundation to ensure pages were optimized for user experience and search engines.

From there, we went beyond conventional keyword tactics. We used a semantic strategy, focusing on search intent instead of chasing high-volume terms. Detailed competitor research and local search analysis guided a plan that spoke directly to potential customers ready to act.

Treating each store location as its own environment was another vital element. We crafted hyper-local content tuned to community interests, fine-tuned Google Business Profile listings, and maintained a personal feel across all digital channels. The results were transformative. Search rankings climbed, store visits increased, and we witnessed a tangible connection between digital strategy and offline business performance. More importantly, we demonstrated that effective SEO is about understanding human behavior and creating seamless digital experiences.

What is your biggest challenge as an SEO specialist, and how do you overcome it?

As an SEO specialist, one of my primary challenges is keeping pace with ever-evolving search engine algorithms. Frequent updates—particularly from Google—require swift adjustments to maintain effective strategies. I regularly consult leading industry sources, including authoritative blogs and forums, to meet this need and attend relevant webinars. Additionally, collaborating with peers to exchange insights and best practices helps me stay ahead of emerging trends. Testing and refining strategies in real time are essential to ensure alignment with the latest algorithmic changes.

Another area of focus is managing client communication, especially when setting realistic expectations. SEO is an inherently long-term endeavor, and while clients often seek rapid outcomes, it is crucial to emphasize that substantial results require time. I prioritize transparent communication by providing consistent updates and progress reports. By clarifying the intricacies of SEO and highlighting key milestones, I help clients feel well-informed and confident of the results that well-implemented SEO techniques will provide.

Please share a bit about your journey and how you found your way into the field of HR.

My journey into HR began during my university years when I studied economics. Through a couple of subjects at University, we learned a lot about Human Resources Management, and I was fascinated by the complexities of human behavior and how it translates into the workplace. After graduating, I worked in various roles that involved people management and development, which naturally led me to pursue a career in HR, together with my desire to work in HR one day. When I joined Cosmic Development over seven years ago, I found an environment that valued my background and provided opportunities to grow and implement innovative HR practices.

What do you find most fulfilling about working in HR, particularly within our company?

What I find most fulfilling about working in HR at Cosmic Development is the ability to make a tangible impact on both the employees and the organization. Seeing how our initiatives contribute to employee satisfaction, productivity, and the overall positive atmosphere is incredibly rewarding.

How do you approach building a positive company culture, and what role do you believe HR and Administration Manager plays in shaping it?

As an Human Resources and Administration Manager, I believe my role is one of the crucial in shaping this culture by fostering open communication and recognizing and rewarding positive behaviors. I also prioritize creating programs and policies that support work-life balance, professional development, and employee well-being. It’s about creating an environment where everyone feels valued and motivated to contribute their best.

In your opinion, what are the key qualities or skills that make a successful HR professional?

A successful HR professional needs a blend of empathy, strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and a professional but friendly approach. And before all, an HR person needs to be a good listener. It is more than important to know how employees feel about every aspect of work and the workplace, what they need to be surrounded with to make expected results and performance, or even more. Empathy is essential for understanding and addressing employee needs and concerns. Strong communication skills are necessary for effectively conveying policies, expectations, and feedback. Strategic thinking is essential for aligning HR initiatives with the overall business goals. Additionally, being adaptable and proactive in anticipating changes and challenges in the workplace is crucial.

As HR, how do you prioritize employee well-being and maintain a healthy work-life balance within the company?

Prioritizing employee well-being involves implementing policies and programs that support physical, mental, and emotional health. We offer flexible working hours, remote work options, and various activities for relaxation and fun. Additionally, we promote a culture where taking breaks and using vacation time is encouraged. Regular check-ins, feedback talks, and sessions help us stay attuned to employee needs and adjust our strategies accordingly.

Congratulations on reaching the milestone of 10 years at Cosmic Development, Vesna! Looking back, what key moments or achievements in your journey with the company stand out to you the most?

Ten years is a long journey. Looking back on my years at Cosmic Development, I have seen how the company has been growing, spreading from one office in Skopje to opening offices in Bitola, Canada, and Serbia. This was challenging and required a lot of commitment from my department. 

The number of employees has drastically increased. Also, my team has grown, and with it, my responsibilities. It was quite an experience that I have been involved in the whole process of evolving the company, and I am still eager for new achievements, which I am sure will follow.

I am happy and proud that I have been part of this successful story that continues. 

As a working mother and a key Finance team member, how have you balanced your professional responsibilities with your personal life over the past decade? Can you share some insights or tips for other working mothers striving to find that balance?

 I must start with the fact that it has been challenging and still is. My job is quite responsible and requires a full commitment. At the same time, the kids are at that age where they need our presence and help to guide them on the right path. To achieve a good work-life balance, I couldn’t have succeeded without Cosmic, my coworkers, and my husband. Cosmic offers us full flexibility; we can arrange our time and work from home whenever needed. My coworkers and my supervisors are always supportive and understanding. My husband has my back at home. So, the tip here is to choose wisely. 

March is International Women’s Month, and you’re a shining example of a dedicated and loyal female employee. How do you feel about being recognized this month for your contributions to the company and as a role model for other women in the workforce?

As a female employee, I feel honored and grateful to be recognized during International Women’s Month for my contribution to the company and as a potential role model for other women in the workforce. It’s essential to acknowledge the achievements and dedication of women in the workplace, especially during a month dedicated to celebrating their contributions and accomplishments. I hope being recognized will inspire and empower other women to pursue their career goals and aspirations.

In your role as Finance and Accounting Manager, how do you see your responsibilities evolving in the future, especially considering the changing landscape of finance and accounting practices?

To perform our job effectively, it’s essential to keep the numbers organized and stay updated on the latest rules and regulations from different areas, as they tend to change often. I manage implementing these updates in my everyday work and ensure they’re communicated clearly. With all the changes and challenges we face daily, along with the new things we’re learning, the feedback I receive helps me grow and evolve and affects my responsibilities at work.

With ten years of experience at Cosmic Development, you’ve likely witnessed various organizational changes and challenges. Can you discuss strategies or approaches you’ve employed to navigate these changes successfully?

Sure, changes are inevitable, especially in a company like Cosmic that is growing and developing. To effectively tackle these changes and challenges, here are a few strategies I’ve found to work: 

  1. Continuous Learning: This is, by default, a must.
  2. Problem–Solving Mindset: Helps identify problems early and work toward solutions to prevent issues from escalating.
  3. Maintaining a Positive Attitude: Keeping a positive attitude helps to keep the morale high and creates a productive work environment.
  4. Building Relationships: Building strong relationships with teammates and supervisors helps collaborate effectively, seek support when needed, and navigate challenges together.

By embracing these strategies, I’ve been able to contribute positively to Cosmic’s growth and success while navigating the inevitable changes and challenges that come with it.

What led you to pursue a career in social media advertising, and how did you end up at Cosmic Development?

Social media advertising offers work in various industries, making it a quite appealing profession. It is continuously progressing and challenging, which is why I chose this career path. For my part, Facebook marketing started by learning the basics of launching campaigns and driving traffic for my personal affiliate website. Later, I began to feel a particular affinity for it, which became my daily routine. Interestingly enough, seeing the ad results from the previous day was the first thing I was doing in the morning. Also, that encouraged me to work on my improvement and optimize my performance, therefore getting a better ROI while testing various tactics on the campaign. As soon as I gained valuable experience, my next goal was to upgrade my skills, so I enrolled in a digital marketing academy. A few months later, I noticed the Cosmic Development ad for FB Ads Manager, and I knew it was an opportunity I must not miss. Applying for the position and joining this company was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. 

Can you share what it’s like working at Cosmic Development and your role as a Facebook Ads Manager?

I have had the privilege of being part of the Cosmic Development team starting from February 2020 as a Facebook Ads Manager, and it has been a fantastic journey. Working here has allowed me to contribute to the growth and success of our clients through strategic and impactful Facebook advertising campaigns. As a Facebook Ads Manager, my role involves executing targeted campaigns that drive engagement and deliver tangible results for our clients. My experience at Cosmic Development as a Facebook Ads Manager has been enriching and fulfilling. I’m proud to be part of a company that values innovation, collaboration, and client success. 

How have the collaboration and team dynamics evolved, especially with the ongoing growth of your team?

My journey at Cosmic Development began as individual work. To be more precise, it was just me and a client’s established vision. From the first moment, we worked in unison, determined to turn ideas into reality. Subsequently, our collaboration has evolved into a dynamic team of four, each contributing to it with their unique magic to our story. Our team structure is like a perfectly orchestrated symphony, where everyone plays a crucial role in advancing the established goals of our client’s company. We have adopted tools like Slack that act as our virtual meeting place, ensuring we and the client are on the same page as we navigate the shared journey of growing an established company. Metaphorically speaking, leading this team is not about being a solo star but leading a band. I am more than glad that we have built a culture that values our individual concepts and our client’s company’s established legacy and dreams.

In what ways has Cosmic Development supported your professional growth and development as a Facebook Ads Manager?

Working with Cosmic Development has significantly enhanced my skills as a Facebook Ads Manager. The company encourages continuous learning, providing access to courses, conferences, and workshops. These valuable benefits have allowed me to stay updated with the latest trends in digital marketing. Another important thing is that professional mentors gave me the exclusive opportunity to learn about leadership initiatives. This experience has given me valuable insights into effective digital marketing leadership and enabled me to take on leadership responsibilities within my team.

What advice do you have for someone aspiring to become a Facebook Ads Manager or enter the field of digital marketing?

YouTube is a goldmine for educational content. Many digital marketing specialists share insights, tutorials, and case studies, providing dynamic and up-to-date changes in Facebook advertising and digital marketing strategies. You can also join digital marketing forums and learn more about the forum members and their case studies. Remember to take all Meta Blueprint courses and look at Udemy and Skillshare, which guarantee high-quality content and an excellent starting point.

How do you see the future of Facebook advertising evolving, and what trends do you anticipate in the coming years?

Facebook keeps changing things up on its ad platform, from tweaking bits in the Ads Manager to big moves like taking away certain targeting choices. Also, it is continuously adding new ways to place ads and new simplified campaign objectives, which, by default, the starting date is scheduled in early 2024. One area that is likely to see significant growth in the coming years is augmented reality (AR) advertising. Meta already partnered with Ray-Ban and created the Meta smart glasses, so I expect more user content, like live streams and videos.

Celebrating a decade at Cosmic Development, Nick Naumoff has witnessed the transformative evolution of digital content and online platforms. From his early days contributing to Rumble’s growth as a Content Manager to his current role as a Content Editor, Nick’s journey unfolds as a testament to adaptability and growth. 

We should also highlight a recent achievement at Cosmic Development – our dedicated team for Rumble now boasts over a hundred employees and proudly occupies a uniquely branded space within the newest office space in Bitola. This milestone underscores our commitment to providing exceptional support and fostering growth in collaboration with industry leaders like Rumble.

Happy 10th anniversary in Cosmic. Can you compare your initial role in the dedicated team for Rumble and now as a manager? Can you share some key experiences or challenges from both standpoints that shaped your career at Cosmic Development?

Back then, at the birth of Rumble, my responsibilities were very simple. We were a brand new platform, and no one knew who we were. Aside from posting to social media, I would find viral videos (cute pets, funny babies, time-lapse videos, etc.) and recruit them to upload to Rumble. So much has evolved since then. Nowadays, I’m able to offer a helping hand in many different departments (moderation, support, recruitment, legal, etc.). I feel that simply putting in the time and absorbing the knowledge over the past ten years has helped me in my managerial skills. I saw how my bosses could teach and motivate me, and in turn, I could apply that to my team. I’m able to learn from my mistakes and share that knowledge. 

Moving to Florida to work directly with our biggest client is a significant shift. How has the experience been so far?

Absolutely incredible. Unbelievable. I truly never thought I’d be living back in the States, let alone beautiful Florida, but here I am. Duty calls. And it’s been nothing short of amazing since the day I’ve arrived. I was nervous, but building such close relationships with my colleagues at Rumble helped make the transition very easy. And being in Florida is paradise. No matter how bad of a day you may have at the office, you see nothing but palm trees and oceanfront on your drive home. Can’t complain.

How do you ensure effective communication with your team while managing a significant role remotely?

It’s all about my team leaders. They are the only reason I could accept this offer to move to Florida. I left Macedonia knowing the moderation team was in good hands, and they haven’t let me down. I do my best to keep in touch with them (weekly meetings, phone calls, etc.) to avoid breaking that communication. They’ve stepped up in a big way. And again, I saw how my bosses from Toronto successfully managed me. It’s come full circle for me. 

How has video content changed over the years, and what new trends do you think are particularly noteworthy?

It’s drastically changed. Since we consume so much content through our phones, short form vertical videos are what most of us are watching these days. Ten years ago, it wasn’t really a thing. But now, especially for Rumble, live streaming is a huge deal. It’s what the biggest content creators on the planet are prioritizing. 

As you look to the future, what goals or aspirations do you have for the Moderation Team and yourself within the company?

For myself, I just want to do my best to help Rumble become bigger and better. For the moderation team, I want them to put in the time and effort to be comfortable with the decisions they make. To have that confidence from the experience of filtering through so many videos. This way, they can use their critical thinking skills and help contribute to the further success of Rumble. They have done a phenomenal job so far, so I see nothing but good things in the future.

What inspired you to pursue a career as a full-stack developer?

I have always had a passion for technology and problem-solving from a young age. Growing up, I was fascinated by computers and how they worked. Delving deeper into the world of technology, I realized that building web applications and websites can be a powerful way to create meaningful and interactive experiences for people.

What inspired me to start a career in web development was the ability to bring ideas to life and have a tangible impact on people’s lives through technology. I saw the potential for creating apps that could simplify their tasks, connect people, and provide valuable services. This combination of creativity, problem-solving, and the ability to have a positive impact motivated me to enter the programming field.

Additionally, the very nature of web technologies that are constantly evolving and the endless possibilities they offer fascinated me. There is always something new to learn, whether it’s a new programming language, framework, or best practices. This landscape, which is constantly changing, keeps me engaged and continuously learning, which I’m really into. 

Over the years, I have honed my skills in PHP and Node.js because they are powerful and widely used technologies in web development. They allowed me to build robust and scalable applications to meet the needs of different projects. Overall, my passion for technology, the opportunity to make a positive impact, and the dynamic nature of web development has been the driving force behind my career in this field.

What attracted you to join Cosmic Development?

Reputation and culture, working on challenging projects, work-life balance, collaborative environment, opportunities for remote work, flexible working hours, and benefits are some of the main factors that pulled me to join Cosmic Development.

Could you share your overall experience at Cosmic and your experience so far?

When I joined Cosmic Development, I started working on a Laravel project, which was something new for me. Still, my previous experience with the Sails.JS framework and PHP was a sound basis for me to quickly master the Laravel Framework and become responsible for the entire project. 

Tell us more about your current project – the Internal HR software tool, the first product of Cosmic Development.

Cosmic HR project is an internal application built on the Laravel Vue.Js stack developed to facilitate the internal operations carried out in the company, like making time off requests from employees, submitting evaluations, recruitment process, and other operations.

Share your experience as a mentor for the internship program at Cosmic Development. 

Being a mentor comes with various challenges due to the technical nature of the field and the diverse range of skills and experiences that mentors need to have, like good communication and leadership skills. As Cosmic Development’s internship mentor, I aim to help interns become proficient programmers and develop a strong foundation in programming principles and practices. Last year, we successfully finished our first internship program with students from the Technical High School “Gjorgji Naumov” from Bitola. I am happy that students could build their first application at the end of this internship program. Next year, we continue with another internship program to help the young generation find their path in the IT field.

Who is Dragan outside the office?

Out of the office, I’m a father of two kids and always on the move, trying to handle all my responsibilities and keep a good and healthy life balance at the same time. I love spending time with my family and playing video games with my kids. 

I love to travel and make plans for my next trip. My next destination is Lisbon, Portugal. I love to spend my time in the mountains for the winter weekends to ski and make snowballs with my kids. When the snow recedes, I start to prepare for the upcoming marathons. I just ran 21km half-marathon on TrcajBe, my next target is a 42 km marathon. My guitar and my bike are still my good old friends. Reading a good book is always welcome. Latest read: Atomic Habits by James Clear. Also, drinking good coffee with friends is something that I usually do.

Thank you for the congratulations! My journey with Cosmic Development so far has been incredibly fulfilling. Over the past five years, I have had the opportunity to work with exceptionally talented and dedicated professionals in the industry, and I have grown both personally and professionally.

I was excited about working in a fast-paced and dynamic industry when I first joined the company. From day one, I was fascinated by the level of collaboration and support within the team, and I quickly realized that Cosmic Development was a company that valued hard work and excellence.

Throughout my time at the company, I have worked on a wide range of projects, from content writing for various clients to developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns, all the way to helping the company set up this blog as the first Cosmic Development’s Blog Editor.

You are now part of the Signature Sold Group as their Digital Marketing Manager and Content Creator. In a field as dynamic as digital marketing, what is it like to work as a Digital Manager in the real estate industry?

As the Digital Marketing Manager and Content Creator for the Signature Sold Group, I can say that working in the real estate industry is incredibly dynamic and fast-paced. Because the real estate industry is constantly changing, digital marketing plays a critical role in the success of any real estate business.

In order to be successful in this industry, it is essential to be up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies and have a deep understanding of the target audience. Real estate buyers and sellers have unique needs and preferences, and our job, as digital creators and marketers, is to develop customized content and strategies that meet those needs.

One of the most challenging aspects of working in real estate digital marketing is the level of competition in the industry. A lot of companies are vying for the attention of potential buyers and sellers, and it is essential to create innovative and eye-catching content and campaigns that set my client apart from the rest.

At the same time, working in real estate digital marketing has many rewarding aspects. It is incredibly satisfying to see the positive impact of our efforts on our clients’ lives and to know that we are helping them achieve their real estate goals. The real estate industry is also full of exciting and engaging projects, from developing marketing campaigns for luxury properties to creating compelling social media content that resonates with buyers and sellers.

Overall, working as a Digital Manager and Content Creator in the real estate industry is both challenging and rewarding. It requires a unique blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and technical skills.

Looking back, what’s been the most exciting and challenging thing you have ever faced?  

One of the most challenging and exciting projects I worked on in recent years was a rebranding campaign for the Signature Sold Group.

The client had been in the industry for many years and had a strong reputation, but they wanted to refresh their brand and better reflect their values and mission. As the Digital Marketing Manager, I created and implemented a comprehensive digital marketing campaign to help them achieve their goals. We also developed new social media channels and created a targeted advertising campaign to increase visibility and engagement.

One of our biggest challenges was maintaining consistency and continuity throughout the campaign. We had to ensure that all aspects of the brand, from the website to social media to advertising, were aligned with the client’s values and messaging.

However, despite the challenges, the campaign was incredibly rewarding. The new website and social media channels were well-received, and the targeted advertising campaign generated high engagement and interest from potential buyers and sellers. It was an excellent reminder of the power of digital marketing and the importance of creating cohesive and consistent branding strategies.

How do you upgrade your knowledge and keep up with the changing business market? 

As a seasoned professional in the digital marketing industry, I know the importance of staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends to deliver high-quality content and effective campaigns for clients. Here are some of the ways I upgrade my knowledge and keep up with the changing business market:

  • Networking – I try to stay connected with other industry professionals, digital creators and marketers, designers, communication specialists, and project managers. This gives me access to a wealth of knowledge and expertise I can draw upon when developing new strategies and campaigns.
  • Read widely and deeply – Besides online publications and blogs, I make a point of reading widely and deeply on various topics related to digital marketing, including psychology, anthropology, and technology. This helps me gain a broader perspective and identify new trends and opportunities that might not be immediately apparent in the digital marketing space.
  • Experiment with new technologies – I’m always on the lookout for new technologies and tools that can help us deliver better results for my client. By experimenting with new platforms and tools, we can identify innovative ways to reach and engage audiences and stay ahead of the competition.

Upgrading knowledge and keeping up with the changing business market requires a combination of curiosity, continuous learning, and a willingness to experiment with new approaches. By staying agile and adaptable, I can continue to deliver effective campaigns and drive business growth for my client.

Who is Ana outside the office?

When I’m not working, I love to stay active and healthy by incorporating regular workouts and yoga into my routine. I find that this helps me to stay focused and energized throughout the day. 

In my free time, I enjoy cooking, experimenting with new recipes, reading, listening to podcasts, and watching movies and series to relax and unwind.

I’m also a big art lover interested in modern and contemporary art. I enjoy visiting galleries and exhibitions whenever I get the chance. As a passionate traveler, I love to explore new cultures and destinations. I’m always on the lookout for my next adventure.

I believe it’s extremely important to maintain a balance between work and leisure and pursue interests and hobbies outside of the office. By doing so, I find that I’m able to approach work with renewed energy and creativity and bring fresh perspectives and insights to my professional engagement.
